The current book is a combination of different applications of technology impacting different spheres of human existence like implementation of computational modelling in cataract detection, usage of mathematical modelling to predict endemic potential of HIV infection. Studies in the usage of technology in prediction of bulk-vessel destination offer insights into logistics planning.Ecological concerns are addressed in chapters covering pest control, controlling of mosquitoes using exotic fish variety; assessing temporal changes in the density of prey-predator species; and, treatment of wastewater using nano-particles.
